Dear North Haven Families,  

It was a rewarding week for learning, and it was wonderful to see the students' spirit and understanding as they participated in the Terry Fox Run.  We also observed Orange Shirt Day on Thursday, and it was great to see the engagement and respect shown by the staff and students as they prepared for and engaged in this special day. 

It was wonderful meeting all the families that attended the Meet the Teacher Open House.  Thank you for joining us and for making it such a wonderful evening.  We would also like to thank the Parent Association for providing Pizza and drinks during the event as families got a chance to meet and greet each other.   

A reminder that there is no school on Monday as the school will be closed due to National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. 

I would also like to draw attention to a change in traffic patterns due to busing changes.  We have gone from three buses to two, and transportation will not be rezoning extra areas as a bus zone.  Thank you for following bus zone expectations while we had the third bus.  Parents can go back to picking up and dropping off their children in the area previously used by the third bus (north of the two crosswalks).  

This week we say farewell to Mrs. Sandra Grenier and would like to wish her all the best. We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Harjinder Kaur Sidhu to the school as her replacement.
