Hello North Haven families,
Last week we concluded our fall safety drills, we are proud to state that the fire drill ran smoothly and was completed in a quick and efficient manner. We also had our first official grade run assembly that was a great success.
This week coming up we have students from Mr. Florin, Mrs. Mittal and Ms. Woolley’s class going to an outdoor camp from Monday to Thursday. Thursday is also Halloween, and we remind families that if students want to dress up for Halloween that costumes are for the morning only and that safety is important in the choice of costume and that masks and loose props be left at home. We also know that Thursday is Diwali and would like to wish those families who celebrate a Happy Diwali.
Each school year, we have a Remembrance Day assembly to honour past and present soldiers. This year, we would like to collect items to donate to the Veterans Food Bank. Here is a link to the most needed items. If you can contribute, you may send “non-perishable” items with your child(ren) to school. We will collect items until November 7.
With next week's forecast of changing temperatures, please send coats with your child and remind them to wear their coats and mitts when necessary.
Have a great week,
Cat & Pam
