Parents/Guardians,  

On Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm we invite you to attend the North Haven School Council meeting in the Learning Commons. The grade 3 team will share some recent learning and we will also share some school planning for next year.  

What is Hats on for Mental Health?  

On Thursday, May 9, students are invited to wear a hat to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health. We hope for students to understand the importance of mental health by wearing hats to school on this day.   
Families can access mental health support through Alberta Health Services. The Summit offers drop-in mental health services for children and youth.  

Asian Heritage Month 

Since the late-1700s, people of Asian descent have made important contributions to Canada's history and identity. In 2002, the Government of Canada officially recognized the month of May as Asian Heritage Month, a time to reflect on and celebrate the contributions that Canadians of Asian descent have made, and continue to make, to the growth and prosperity of Canada (Source: Canada.ca).
