Dear Parents & Guardians,
Kaylyn Kodiak Residency
Despite some rainy patches, students learned about the traditional uses of the native plant species found in our naturalization area and on Nose Hill. Through seeing the plant in real life, pictures, stories, and songs, they learned about the plants, their life cycle and their uses throughout the different seasons.
Field Trips
A reminder that students are going to be away from the school over the next few weeks for field trips. Please ensure that students are dressed appropriately and have their lunches with them. The forecast for this week's field trips for Division 1 and Grade 6 is for rain and a little colder than the rest of the week (high of 13 degrees).
Volunteer Tea
Is this Friday, May 31 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Please let Ms. Kessler know if you will be coming. pckessler@cbe.ab.ca
Have a great week,
Cat and Pam
