Trickster Residency Showcase 

We are asking ALL families to complete this form ASAP to receive tickets to the show! 

As mentioned in last week’s Peek at the week, Grade 1-6 students will be participating in a theatrical presentation about Belonging on the afternoon and evening of February 27.  We would like to invite families to come and watch. Due to our gym being so small we need to plan for those attending and limit the number of attendees per family to 2.  

There are two scheduled times to see the show:  
The afternoon performance will begin at 1:00 pm. This is a final rehearsal for students. Doors will open for parents at 12:40 pm.  
The evening performance begins at 5:30 pm. Doors will open at 5:10 pm.  

We would like all students to attend both performances if they can. If parents sign up for the daytime performance, they may drop-off and pick up their child in the evening. Please be respectful of these times:  

• Drop off time: 5:10-5:20 pm. 
• Pick up time: 6:40-6:45 pm  

Parking will be limited so you may want to park a block or two away and allow time for this. Please do not park in front of the school to allow for quick drop-off before the performance.  

Traffic Safety 

We have received some feedback from families regarding the traffic around our school at drop off and pick up. We ask that drivers please avoid making U-turns or double parking on the street. Please call 311 with any concerns as we are not able to enforce the traffic or parking laws, we can only encourage.    

Information for Grade 6 parents - Late French Immersion Program at Georges P. Vanier School 

Georges P. Vanier will be having their Open House for the Late French Immersion program Thursday, February 20 from 6:30 -7:30. This program is open to all students who are moving into Grade 7 for the 2025-2026 school year.   

This presentation will be at the school. The school will be open for you to visit and listen to the teachers and students in person.
