Important Information

Safety Drills and Emergency Preparedness

Last week, we completed our second lockdown drill in partnership with the Calgary Police Service. Officers noted that students and staff responded in a calm, focused, and age-appropriate manner.

Practicing these routines is an important part of ensuring that, in the event of an emergency, students feel prepared and supported. We will continue this work over the coming months, with three fire drills scheduled. Our first fire drill will take place on April 20.

CBE Student Survey (Grades 5 & 6)

This week, Grade 5 and 6 students will participate in the CBE Student Survey.

This survey is one of the ways we gather meaningful student feedback to inform both school planning and system-level decisions within the CBE. Student perspectives help shape how we support learning, strengthen engagement, and continue to improve the overall school experience.

It will be completed during instructional time and typically takes 60–80 minutes. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Looking Ahead

  • April 22: Earth Day
